Volunteers are a huge part of camp ministry. We need cabin leaders, cooks, skill leaders, youth pastors and children's ministry staff.  Please contact us to find out how you can be involved.

    Youth Camps    

    "RUN TO WIN" at Mishewah in 2012!

    Located on beautiful Round Lake, Camp Mishewah is where you can watch the sun rising over the water in the morning and the moon sparkling on the lake at night! There is a wide, sandy beach, and plenty of space for the waterfront activities offered at camp. These include canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and swimming. Other activities offered during children and youth camps include crafts, various sports, out-tripping, campfires, chapel times, workshops for learning various skills, and a variety of cabin and group activities.

    Resident Camp Dates for 2012

    Scamps & Champs #1 (Sun to Sat) July 29 – Aug 4, for ages 8 to 12 (Bus Service from Southwestern ON available)

    Scamps & Champs #2 (Sun to Sat) Aug 5 - 11, for ages 8 to 12 (Please inquire about bus service.  A minimum # of riders will be needed)

    Ottawa Valley Jr. Teens & FACS campers  (Sun to Fri Eve)  Aug 12 - 17, for ages 12 - 14.  Forms will be available for you to register in a few weeks.  For information email us at:  info@evergreencm.org

    Jr. Teens (Sun to Sat) Aug 19 - 25, for ages 12 - 14  (Bus service from Southwestern ON available)

    Sr. Teens (Sun to Sat)  Aug 26 – Sept 1, for ages 15 - 19  (Bus service from Southwestern ON available)

    Sessions that Last a Week!  Here's what a typical day at Scamps and Champs looks like!  Find the Jr. Teen daily schedule here!

    Scamps and Champs Sessions are for ages 8 to 12!   Jr. Teens is a full camp of ages 12 to 14. Each camp week is built around an annual theme! 2012 is Olympic Year.  Just like the athletes at Mishewah we are training to be ready to "Run to Win"!

    Sr. Teen's, ages 15 - 19 - a spectacular summer's end camp is built for you  Read on right here:  Senior Teen Camp is a perfect way to end your summer.  Relax and connect with friends old and new in the beautiful surroundings of Mishewah. The sandy beaches, the boats, the campfires, the late night café – they’re all waiting for you. Whether you were counseling all summer, working in the city, going to summer school or fighting boredom, come and experience a change of pace for 7 days.

    Senior Teen Camp is also a great way to transition to a new season of school.  The high school environment can be a very challenging and also a very exciting place to follow Jesus. Time spent looking into scripture and praying together with counselors and friends who care about you will prepare you for that challenge. Don’t miss this opportunity.

    *Note: Bus service from south and southwestern Ontario is available for Scamps and Champs Week 1, JR Teens and SR Teens at Camp Mishewah, including a second run to service Western Ontario and the Georgian Bay region.   

    *Note:  Family and Children's Services campers ages 8-12 please register for our Scamps & Champs Sessions

    Don't lose your kids clothes at camp!  Label them.  Go to Lovable Labels.  A portion of every sale goes to support our youth camp programs at ECM!
