Our directoral staff love to read. It's part of our faith journey

George Grierson, our Conference Center Director at Stayner is reading Why I am a Christian (Leading Thinkers Explain Why They Believe) Edited by Norman Geisler & Paul Hoffman and Not A Fan by Pastor Kyle Idleman.  Pastor Kyle is the author and presenter of the award-winning video curriculum series “H2O: A Journey of Faith” as well as “The Easter Experience”.  Looks like a great read!

Louise is working through the book of Daniel, using Beth Moore's teaching DVD's.  It is deep rich teaching on this prophetic book.   While Babylon did everything to indoctrinate the minds of Daniel and his three friends, they remained true to their God, living a life of integrity.

Our Camp Mishewah Managing Director, Rob Benkhe, is currently reading "God's Dream Team: A Call To Unity" by Tommy Tenney, and "Transformaitional Coaching: Empowering Leaders in a Changing Ministry World" by Steve Ogne & Tim Roehl.

Refund Policy

We offer a full refund up to 30 days before the camp session your child is attending.  If cancellation is less than 30 days, cancellation fees will apply.  In the event of a confirmed medical or family emergency, or a reported problem with head lice, the same refund is available right up to the morning of registration day. Once a child has arrived at camp, refunds are pro rated on the number of days left in the week minus a 25% admin fee.  The exception is in the event of disciplinary action in which case no refund will be issued.

Tuck Money

Visiting the tuck shop is a camp tradition.  Each camper can have tuck money sent with them. We collect the money upon arrival at camp and set up a camper account.  All snack purchases are against the account throughout the week. The maximum amount they are allowed to spend daily is $3 for most camps.  Maximum per week is $15.

How We Dress at Camp

At all of our Evergreen Camps we ask campers, guests and staff to wear appropriate clothing.  In keeping with biblical instructions of modesty and to encourage an atmosphere where we can focus on the spiritual we ask all who attend to follow these guidelines.

Swim Wear

Girls and women should wear one piece bathing suits or a tankini that 'looks' like a one piece. If a two piece suit is all you have then please wear a dark t-shirt over top.

For guys, swimming shorts should fall to the hip and not be a brief style.

Tops

T-shirts, hoodies, any shirt or top should not display inappropriate language, images or questionable suggestive language.   Girls and women's tops are to cover the midriff and no cleavage should be visible. Please:  no strapless dresses or tops; this also applies to dressup clothes.

Jeans, Shorts and Joggers

Gentlemen, clothing needs to be up to the hip, we really do not want to see your brand of underwear.

For girls, shorts are to have at least a 4" inseam.   Form fitting clothes such as spandex, leggings and tights, must be worn with a tunic style top or dress.

Cabin Requests

We honor cabin mate requests as much as possible.  Please list single names, not groups of friends.  Long linked groups of names are generally not possible to accommodate.

Health

The health form you receive when you register your camper for camp is to come to camp WITH them, not to be mailed in ahead of camp.  All medical information is to be current.
